'Open Source Painting' Project

Publicly sharing 100 of my digitally created brushstrokes so anyone can create their own artwork using these painting gestures. 🎨

Brushstrokes represent the ‘Source Code’ of my painterly expression and are publicly offered following the philosophic principles of open source internet culture.

To participate:

​

1. Download the folder and open file \Canvas.png\ as a canvas to work on in Photoshop (or any equivalent program).

2. Use files 1.png- 100.png as pre-prepared brushstrokes to compose a digital painting.

You may rotate, scale, skew, etc, the brushstrokes as desired.

3. Save the resultant digital painting in JPEG / PNG format. Name the file as desired.

​

4. Upload your creation to the google drive below.
